Grain Elevator for Sale: 35,000 Tons of Storage with Expansion Potential in Kirovohrad Region

A grain elevator with 35,000 tons of storage is up for sale in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine. The facility, which has only been in operation for two seasons, offers an exceptional opportunity for investment in the agricultural sector. It comes with modern infrastructure and potential for expansion to 54,000 tons of storage, making it a highly attractive asset for companies involved in grain trading and storage.

The elevator complex itself sits on a 3-hectare plot, which is under lease. The current storage includes six silos manufactured in Turkey, providing 31,500 tons of capacity. Additionally, there are six operational silos offering 2,000 tons of storage. An added advantage of this facility is the possibility to install three more silos of 5,000 tons each, bringing the potential total to 54,000 tons. According to the project, one of the foundations has already been poured, and the preparation for the installation of two additional silos is underway, including gravel preparation.

In addition to vertical storage, the complex includes a horizontal storage warehouse with an area of 1,500 m², currently housing 2,000 tons of grain. With some reconstruction, this storage area can be increased to accommodate 6,000 tons, offering even more flexibility for handling different types of grain or managing overflow during peak seasons.

One of the most significant advantages of this elevator is its transportation infrastructure. The complex includes truck and railway scales, ensuring precise weight measurement for large-scale operations. Moreover, the presence of a private dead-end railway track with a loading front for 12 wagons offers efficient grain transportation via rail, reducing logistics costs and ensuring faster delivery times.

The elevator is equipped with two dryers, each with a capacity of 100 tons per hour, making it capable of processing large volumes of grain quickly and efficiently. Additionally, two separators, BSH 200 and SPO 100, are in place to ensure the highest quality of grain processing. All equipment in the facility is designed to handle a throughput of 100 tons per hour, allowing for continuous operation during peak harvesting periods.

A new office building with an area of 300 m² provides modern amenities for the operational staff and management, further enhancing the facility’s functionality.

As reported by InVenture https://inventure.com.ua/en , the selling price of this elevator is $4,250,000, which translates to about $120 per ton of actual storage. Given the facility’s condition and potential for future expansion, this price reflects a fair valuation in the current market, especially considering the strategic location of the Kirovohrad region in Ukraine's agricultural heartland.

In conclusion, this elevator complex offers a unique investment opportunity for agricultural enterprises seeking to expand their grain storage capacity or enter the Ukrainian market. With modern equipment, the potential for expansion, and excellent transportation links, the facility is well-suited to meet the growing demands of the agricultural sector.
